Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work under pressure.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work flexible shifts including weekends/evenings.
• Keen attention to detail and pride in high-standard kitchen duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food items under senior chefs.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and plating specifications for all menu items with consistency.
• Carry out basic food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and measuring ingredients.
• Maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness, adhering to HACCP and food safety policies.
• Support kitchen colleagues during service to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating deliveries, and maintain stock levels.
• Clean and set up workstations, utensils, and equipment before and after service.
• Comply with health and safety regulations, reporting issues promptly.
• Willing to take on additional tasks and help other kitchen sections during busy periods.
