Job summary

The Arts Club Dubai is seeking a Commis Chef to join its kitchen team in DIFC. You will support daily operations, follow recipes and standards, and maintain mise-en-place and food safety practices.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in luxury hotels or fine dining, good English, strong organisational and time management skills, and the ability to stand for long shifts. A positive, flexible attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes delegated by the Chef in charge.
• Take tasks from the Chef in charge and execute them properly.
• Ensure portion sizes and quantities follow recipes and standards.
• Complete daily mise-en-place, food storage and checklists.
• Report any kitchen equipment failures and coordinate maintenance.
• Keep the kitchen area clean and items labelled with dates.
• Help minimize food waste and maintain FIFO from store or supplies.
