Job summary

The Arts Club Dubai in DIFC is seeking a Sous Chef to support the Head Chef and lead the kitchen team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. You will help run the kitchen as a profit center while upholding the outlet's concept and standards.

Experience in luxury hotels or fine dining, preferably Michelin-starred, and excellent English are essential. The role demands strong organizational skills, flexibility, and a proactive leadership mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as Sous Chef in luxury hotels or fine dining, preferably Michelin-starred.
• Internationally recognized professional certification.
• Proficient in classic fine dining with a modern twist.
• Excellent English, written and spoken.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with flexibility.
• Excellent team management and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrates integrity and confidentiality.
• Must be able to work long shifts and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef in running the assigned kitchen as an independent profit center.
• Ensure highest quality of all food served while controlling costs to maximise gross profit.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:

• Minimum 2 years experience in the same role in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurant, preferably Michelin starred
• Internationally recognized professional certification
• Skilled in classic fine dining cuisine with modern twist
• Excellent level of English, written and spoken
• Have strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility
• Excellent team management skills with strong problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrate integrity in all dealings and maintain high level of confidentiality
• Be a self-motivator and someone who is ready to challenge in the interest of continuous improvement
• Ability to work long shifts and stand for the extended period of time
