Job summary

DAIKAN in Abu Dhabi is seeking a motivated kitchen assistant to support chefs with ingredient prep and plating. You will learn Japanese culinary techniques while maintaining a clean work area and following hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience or culinary training is preferred but not mandatory.

• Actively participate in training sessions and learn about various cooking techniques and methods.
• Seek feedback from senior staff to improve culinary skills.
• Assist with organization and inventory of kitchen supplies ensuring all ingredients are stored properly and tracked for freshness.
• Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service times.
