Job summary

FUNCO is expanding its EduPlay division, offering Montessori-inspired educational and sensory products for children aged 3+. We are seeking a Commercial Manager to build and lead the UAE commercial operation and later support GCC/India expansion.

The role focuses on developing the UAE go-to-market, managing multiple channels, and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and a high-performing sales team. Regional growth potential is significant across GCC & India.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sales, BD or commercial management.
• Strong UAE market knowledge and B2B sales experience.
• Experience launching products or new markets preferred.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute UAE go-to-market and sales strategy.
• Build and manage B2B, B2C, retail and e-commerce channels.
• Manage and develop the existing sales team.
• Establish CRM, sales processes, KPIs, reporting and forecasting.
• Develop key accounts across schools, nurseries, Montessori centres, hotels, play areas, developers and retailers.
• Drive sales pipeline development, negotiations and revenue growth.
• Develop pricing, market positioning and commercial strategies.
• Identify strategic partnerships and future GCC/India opportunities.

FUNCO is expanding its new EduPlay division, representing a premium range of Montessori-inspired educational and sensory products for children aged 3+, with exclusive market rights across GCC & India.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and commercially driven Commercial Manager to build and lead the commercial operation, initially focusing on the UAE and subsequently supporting regional expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the UAE go-to-market and sales strategy.
• Build and manage B2B, B2C, retail and e-commerce channels.
• Manage and develop the existing sales team.
• Establish CRM, sales processes, KPIs, reporting and forecasting.
• Develop key accounts across schools, nurseries, Montessori centres, hotels, play areas, developers and retailers.
• Drive sales pipeline development, negotiations and revenue growth.
• Develop pricing, market positioning and commercial strategies.

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years’ experience in Sales / Business Development / Commercial Management.
• Strong UAE market knowledge and B2B sales experience.
• Experience in launching products or developing new markets is highly preferred.
• Strong CRM, sales forecasting and team-management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Entrepreneurial, energetic, hands-on and results-oriented.
• Experience in education, toys, children’s products, retail, hospitality, leisure or related sectors is an advantage.
