Job summary

ApplyMint in Dubai is seeking a commercially minded Commercial & Operations Data Analyst to translate large volumes of data into clear, actionable insights across multiple locations. You will build Power BI dashboards, analyze revenue, bookings, and performance, and work with Operations and senior management to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, BI, or operational reporting
• Advanced Excel skills and good Power BI skills
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Strong numerical and analytical ability with large datasets
• Ability to explain data to non-technical managers
• Curious and proactive in investigating root causes

Responsibilities

• Analyse revenue, transactions, average transaction value and service mix
• Track actual vs target, MTD, YTD and year-on-year performance
• Analyse staff hours, booked hours, utilisation and productivity
• Review booking patterns by location, day and time
• Analyse cancellations, no-shows, waitlists and missed booking opportunities
• Identify capacity and scheduling patterns affecting performance
• Analyse new clients, returning clients, retention and rebooking
• Compare performance across locations and identify meaningful variances

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and management reports

About the roleWe are looking for a commercially minded Commercial & Operations Data Analyst to help us better understand business performance across a multi-location service business.This is not simply a reporting role.You will work with operational, commercial and client data to identify what is happening in the business, what is driving the result, and where management should focus its attention.You will work closely with Operations and senior management, turning large volumes of data into clear, useful insights.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse revenue, transactions, average transaction value and service mix
• Track actual vs target, MTD, YTD and year-on-year performance
• Analyse staff hours, booked hours, utilisation and productivity
• Review booking patterns by location, day and time
• Analyse cancellations, no-shows, waitlists and missed booking opportunities

We are looking for someone who can look at a result such as:"Transactions are down" and then investigate what is actually driving the change. The role is expected to identify and quantify business issues clearly. Operational management will own the decisions and execution.
