Job summary

Commercial Bank of Dubai is seeking an experienced Collections professional in the UAE to manage delinquent portfolios and drive settlements while ensuring compliance with banking regulations. The role involves supervising recovery processes, negotiating settlements, and coordinating with legal actions for high-value accounts.

The candidate should have 2–5 years in collections, a strong debt-management background, and fluency in English (Arabic preferred).

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5 years in collections.
• Strong background in debt management.
• Excellent communication in English; Arabic preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of banking regulations.
• Professional certification in Collections/Recovery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish contact with 180+ delinquent clients to recover overdue payments.
• Convert promises to pay to payments through professional communication.
• Follow up with Credit Card and Loan accounts to encourage settlements.
• Negotiate settlements with appropriate haircuts to reduce credit losses.
• Facilitate restructuring by ensuring approved repayment methods and monthly targets.
• Resolve customer queries and disputes effectively.
• Initiate suitable legal action for high-value uncooperative accounts.
• Monitor and analyze payment patterns; implement targeted settlement strategies.
• Maintain skip tracing for unreachable customers.
• Initiate credit control actions including suspension/cancellation of facilities.
• Identify and report high-risk cases and provide delinquency trend feedback.
