Job summary

Yas Plaza Hotels by Aldar Hospitality is seeking a Junior Sous Chef - Cold Kitchen to join our team in Abu Dhabi. You will assist the Sous Chef to set and uphold standards, optimizing materials and manpower to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality, cold kitchen operations, and a culinary/hospitality degree. You will monitor food quality, presentation, and timely delivery while maintaining strict health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality industry and a passion for food.
• Experience in cold kitchen operations, high-volume or fine-dining preferred.
• Creativity in presentation and menu development.
• Culinary/Hospitality degree or diploma required.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
• Organized with ability to multitask and maintain high standards.
• Proactive and able to thrive under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sous Chef to set and maintain Yas Plaza Hotels standards.
• Support smooth department operation through efficient use of materials and manpower.
• Monitor food quality, setup/presentation and timely delivery of dishes.
