Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Tool & Die Making.
• 3–5 years of hands-on CNC Turning experience.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming (Siemens/HAAS/Fanuc preferred).
• Knowledge of GD&T and machining processes.
• Familiarity with cutting tools, speeds, feeds and coolant usage.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC Turning machines to manufacture precision components from engineering drawings.
• Select and install cutting tools, jigs and fixtures for optimal machining.
• Read, interpret and modify CNC programs to meet tolerances and surface finish requirements.
• Conduct in-process inspections using micrometers, vernier calipers and gauges.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Monitor production and adjust cutting parameters for efficiency and tool life.
• Maintain records of production runs, tooling usage and machine parameters.
• Follow safety standards and keep a clean, hazard-free area.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality control to ensure on-time delivery.
