Job summary

JobCenter in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will set up and operate CNC machines according to engineering drawings and sample parts.

Responsibilities include selecting cutting tools, adjusting tool offsets, programming paths, and inspecting finished parts with precision instruments. The role requires reading drawings, attention to quality, and the ability to work with minimal supervision; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience in CNC machine operation.
• Experience in setting up and operating CNC machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of machine shop mathematics.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Team player attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge in programming is an advantage.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines according to engineering drawings, blueprints and sample parts.
• Select cutting tools, adjust tool offsets and program cutting paths.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality.
• Troubleshoot problems and maintain safe working practices while operating the machine.
