Job summary

Maestra in Dubai seeks a skilled CNC Operator to join the Events & Exhibitions production team. You will operate CNC routing and cutting machines, reading AutoCAD layouts and SketchUp models to ensure precise production.

The role requires attention to detail, quality workmanship and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a collaborative workshop. Experience with MDF, plywood, acrylic and laminates is preferred, along with strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of CNC operator experience in events/exhibitions or joinery environments.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Proficiency in reading AutoCAD drawings and SketchUp models.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC routing and cutting machines according to approved drawings and production requirements.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, AutoCAD layouts, and SketchUp models.
• Set up machines, tools, materials and parameters for each job and ensure accuracy.
• Check material type, thickness and quantity prior to cutting and verify dimensions.
• Maintain CNC tools and perform routine cleaning, maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with supervisors and project teams to meet deadlines and uphold safety standards.
