Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience operating CNC Turning machines.
  • Strong understanding of CNC programming (Fashanu/Siemens/HAAS controls preferred).
  • Knowledge of engineering drawings and machining processes.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and set up CNC Turning machines to manufacture precision components.
  • Select and install appropriate cutting tools and fixtures.
  • Read, interpret, and modify CNC programs for accuracy.
  • Conduct in-process inspections to ensure quality.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist (Turning) to set up operate and maintain CNC Turning machines for producing high-precision components as per engineering specifications. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in CNC Turning operations tool setting and quality inspection to ensure the delivery of accurate and defect-free parts.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and set up CNC Turning machines to manufacture precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Select and install appropriate cutting tools jigs and fixtures to achieve optimal machining performance.

  • Read interpret and modify CNC programs to meet dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirements.

  • Conduct in-process inspections using measuring instruments such as micrometres vernier callipers and gauges to ensure quality standards.

  • Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues to minimize downtime.

  • Monitor production processes and adjust cutting parameters to optimize efficiency and tool life.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of production runs tooling usage and machine parameters.

  • Follow safety standards and maintain a clean organized and hazard-free work area.

  • Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to address any technical issues and ensure on-time delivery.


Essential Qualifications:
  • ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Tool & Die Making.

  • Minimum 3 5 years of hands-on experience operating CNC Turning machines.

  • Strong understanding of CNC programming (Fashanu/Siemens/HAAS controls preferred).

  • Knowledge of engineering drawings GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and machining processes.

  • Familiarity with cutting tools speeds feeds and coolant usage for different materials.
