Job summary

Titan Consultancy in Dubai is seeking a Junior CNC Operator to operate turning and milling machines under supervision, and to assist in machining flameproof enclosures and precision parts.

The ideal candidate has an ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, 2 years experience, basic CNC knowledge, and a strong eye for detail; accommodation and meals are included in the package.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of CNC turning and milling.
• Awareness of explosion-proof standards (advantage).

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC turning and milling machines under supervision.
• Assist in machining flameproof enclosures, threaded components, and precision parts as per drawings.
• Conduct in-process inspection using vernier caliper, micrometer, bore gauge, thread gauge, etc.
• Ensure surface finish and dimensional accuracy meet quality requirements.
• Follow production and quality documentation procedures.
• Report non-conformities to supervisor.
• Maintain housekeeping per 5S standards.

Experience Required: 02 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC turning and milling machines under supervision.
• Assist in machining flameproof enclosures, threaded components, and precision parts as per approved drawings.
• Conduct in-process inspection using vernier caliper, micrometer, bore gauge, thread gauge, etc.
• Ensure surface finish and dimensional accuracy meet quality and certification requirements.
• Follow strict production and quality documentation procedures.
• Report non-conformities immediately to supervisor.
• Maintain housekeeping as per 5S standards.

Required Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of CNC machining (turning & milling).

Preferred Knowledge (Advantage)

• Basic understanding of Explosion-Proof standards (ATEX / IECEx).
