Job summary

Tanqeeb in the United Arab Emirates seeks a seasoned Business Development Manager for CNC machined parts to drive sales growth across the UAE. You will win new customers, cultivate repeat business, and identify opportunities for welded fabrications alongside CNC offerings.

You will read engineering drawings, coordinate with estimation, engineering, and production teams, and negotiate quotations to maintain margins while meeting delivery timelines.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B sales or business development experience in CNC machining, precision engineering, subcontract manufacturing, or a closely related sector.
• Proven track record of winning industrial customers in the UAE.
• Established network of UAE procurement and engineering contacts is a strong advantage.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and discuss materials, machining processes, tolerances, and manufacturing requirements.
• Commercial understanding of quotation preparation, pricing, gross margin, and payment terms.
• Experience selling welded fabrications would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win UAE and export customers requiring CNC-machined components, including OEMs, equipment manufacturers, oil & gas companies, and other related sectors.
• Develop a focused account plan covering priority customers, decision-makers, and sales opportunities.
• Generate enquiries through customer visits, prospecting, referrals, and industry networking.
• Build relationships with procurement, engineering, production, and maintenance teams.
• Convert initial enquiries into trial orders, repeat orders, and longer-term supply agreements.
• Identify opportunities for welded fabrications alongside the core CNC machining offering.
• Maintain ownership of customer relationships from initial enquiry through order delivery and repeat business.
• Provide clear handovers of purchase orders, specifications, and agreed terms to internal teams.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve customer concerns and communicate delivery updates.
• Support Finance with payment follow-up and the resolution of commercial queries.
• Gather customer feedback to improve service and identify further sales opportunities.
