Job summary

King’s College Hospital London – Dubai is seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Laboratory Technologist/Cytoscreener to join our multidisciplinary laboratory team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cytology screening, supporting high-quality patient care in line with international best practices.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, DHA Cytoscreener license, and at least 5 years of relevant experience. The position emphasizes adherence to quality standards and encourages collaboration with clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in cytology, cytoscreening, or anatomic pathology.
• Strong technical skills in cytology specimen preparation, staining, and screening.
• Experience in a JCI/CAP-accredited hospital laboratory is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform cytology screening with high diagnostic accuracy.
• Review and verify cytology results in accordance with laboratory policies.
• Ensure compliance with DHA and international laboratory accreditation standards.
• Participate in quality control and proficiency testing programs.
• Train and mentor junior technologists.
