Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi LLC seeks an experienced Senior Charge Nurse or nursing leader to supervise case-management staff. The role focuses on ensuring timely, safe patient care across units, with active involvement in utilization review, social work coordination and documentation compliance.

Requirements include a nursing degree, valid license, BLS, and several years of leadership experience in healthcare.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (required).
• Minimum six years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting (required).
• Two years as a Senior Charge Nurse or at least three years as a Charge Nurse (required).
• Valid and current national nursing license (required).
• BLS certification (required).
• Postgraduate diploma in Nursing/Healthcare/Management/Administration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements operational plan for Case Management, including Utilization Review and Social Work.
• Utilizes Case Management software to analyze trends and prepare reports.
• Presents data to stakeholders concisely and articulately; identifies trends and recommends improvements.
• Promotes interdepartmental collaboration through effective communication and staff management.
• Conducts performance evaluations, coaching and counseling; supports team development and accountability.
• Facilitates group processes and implements shared decision making.
• Ensures documentation standards and liaises with payers and regulators.
• Advocates for patients to protect health, safety and rights.
