Job summary

Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, seeks a Nurse Case Manager to coordinate patient care with the multidisciplinary team under the guidance of the Senior Case Coordinator. You will ensure timely access to services, document medical and insurance information, and act as a liaison between clinicians and revenue departments.

A Bachelor’s in Nursing with active RN license and BLS are required, with 6 years of experience in case management within a large healthcare

Qualifications

• Must have active nursing license and BLS certification.
• Experience in case management within a hospital setting is required.
• 6 years’ experience in SSMC or similar health care facility, with a focus on case management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain active communication with physicians, nursing and multidisciplinary team.
• Coordinate with Senior Case Coordinator to progress patient care episodes.
• Manage medical necessity screening and communicate with payers as needed.
• Determine appropriate level of care placement and utilization management.
• Document medical and health insurance information accurately.
