Job summary

HEI UAE, in partnership with HEI Schools, seeks an Early Childhood Educator to deliver child-centered learning in a UAE nursery setting. You will plan engaging activities, implement structured lesson plans, and maintain portfolios while upholding safety standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or related field, a NCFE Cache Level 3 certificate, and at least 2 years of relevant experience with young children. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• NCFE Cache Level 3 certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children in a nursery or early learning setting.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong classroom management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional standards regarding child information.

Responsibilities

• Implement lesson plans that meet developmental objectives and maintain a structured classroom schedule.
• Observe and evaluate student performance, creating detailed reports and maintaining updated student portfolios.
• Manage student behavior using positive reinforcement and age-appropriate classroom procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy learning environment while adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Foster strong relationships with parents through regular communication and parent-teacher conferences.
• Supervise, mentor, and conduct performance reviews for Teaching Assistants.
• Manage classroom inventory, expenses, and essential student records such as attendance and time sheets.
• Collaborate with the Nursery Principal to improve educational offerings and curriculum implementation.
