Job summary

HEI UAE is seeking an enthusiastic early childhood assistant to support teachers and nurture children’s development in a Dubai classroom.

You will help implement engaging activities, monitor safety, and communicate with parents and staff to promote a positive learning environment.

The role requires a high school diploma with CACHE Level 2, at least 1 year of local experience, and solid knowledge of early childhood pedagogy and best practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and CACHE Level 2 qualification required.
• Minimum 1 year of similar experience in an early childhood setting.
• Knowledge of early childhood pedagogy and best practices.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher in daily activities and manage the class environment.
• Support children's development across intellectual, emotional, social, and physical domains.
• Ensure children's safety and well-being through supervision and risk assessments.
• Prepare classroom materials and activities to encourage exploration.
• Collaborate with staff and participate in meetings and training.
• Monitor and report developmental or health concerns to lead teacher or nurse.
