Job summary

Larsen & Toubro Limited in Dubai is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to lead execution and coordination of bridges, underpasses, culverts, and other reinforced-concrete structures for a major RTA Roads and Infrastructure project. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Relevant experience in civil and structural works for roads, highways, bridges, or major infrastructure projects.
• UAE/GCC experience, preferably on RTA roads or infrastructure projects in Dubai.
• Knowledge of reinforced-concrete construction, foundations, formwork, reinforcement, concreting, and precast works.
• Ability to interpret structural drawings, bar-bending schedules, specifications, and construction sequences.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, inspection requirements, and construction safety standards.
• Good planning, coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of structural or project-management software will be an advantage.

• Execute piling, pile caps, reinforcement, formwork, concreting, post-tensioning, waterproofing, and precast erection works.
• Review structural drawings, shop drawings, bar-bending schedules, method statements, and technical specifications.
• Plan daily activities and arrange manpower, materials, equipment, and work fronts.
• Coordinate with consultants, designers, surveyors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project disciplines.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, inspection requirements, and construction schedules.
• Raise inspection requests and coordinate QA/QC approvals.
• Perform pre-pour inspections for line, level, dimensions, reinforcement, formwork, and concrete readiness.
• Monitor progress, productivity, material usage, quality, and safety.
• Identify drawing discrepancies and coordinate timely resolutions.
• Ensure safe execution of lifting, scaffolding, formwork, temporary works, and work-at-height.
• Maintain daily progress records, site reports, inspection documents, and as-built information.
• Support testing, snag rectification, documentation, and final handover.
