Job summary

L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering in Dubai seeks an experienced Construction Manager – Structures to lead the delivery of major reinforced-concrete bridge, flyover, underpass and highway works.

You will oversee planning, manage formwork, reinforcement, piling and post-tensioning, coordinate with RTA consultants and subcontractors, ensure safety, quality and schedule, and report progress for timely handover. 15–20 years UAE road/highway project experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 15–20 years of experience in structural construction for roads/highways/bridges.
• Dubai RTA road/highway project experience preferred.
• Reinforced-concrete structures, bridges, underpasses, culverts and retaining walls.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs and sequences; strong leadership.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage structural works including bridges, piers, decks, underpasses and foundations.
• Supervise piling, pile caps, formwork, reinforcement, post-tensioning and precast erection.
• Review drawings, method statements, temporary-works designs, material submissions and programmes.
• Coordinate with RTA, consultants, designers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage manpower, materials, equipment, subcontractors and daily activities.
• Coordinate with roads, utilities, drainage and other disciplines.
• Monitor progress, productivity, costs, quality, safety and compliance with schedule.
• Identify issues and constraints and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, approvals and NCR/quality observations closure.
• Ensure safe lifting, scaffolding, formwork and work-at-height execution.
• Prepare progress reports, resource forecasts and recovery plans.
• Support testing authority approvals, as-built documentation and project close-out.

L amp T Construction is seeking an experienced strong Construction Manager Structures strong for a major strong RTA Roads and Infrastructure Project in Dubai UAE strong The candidate will lead the construction of bridges flyovers underpasses culverts retaining walls and other reinforced-concrete structures ensuring completion within the required schedule budget quality and safety standards

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage structural works including strong bridges piers abutments decks underpasses culverts retaining walls and foundations strong
• Supervise piling pile caps formwork reinforcement post-tensioning precast erection and concreting activities
• Review construction drawings method statements temporary-works designs material submissions and work programmes
• Coordinate with strong RTA consultants designers subcontractors suppliers and internal project teams strong
• Manage manpower materials equipment subcontractors and daily construction activities
• Coordinate structural works with roads utilities drainage traffic diversions and other project disciplines
• Monitor progress productivity costs quality safety and compliance with the approved programme
• Identify technical issues site constraints and delays and implement suitable corrective measures
• Coordinate inspections testing work approvals and closure of quality observations and NCRs

Candidates with proven experience in delivering strong RTA bridges flyovers underpasses interchanges culverts retaining walls and other major highway structures in Dubai UAE strong will be preferred

Required Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. 15 20 years of experience in structural construction for roads, highways, bridges, or major infrastructure projects. Previous experience in RTA road or highway projects in Dubai is preferred. Strong experience in reinforced-concrete structures, bridges, underpasses, culverts, and retaining walls. Sound knowledge of piling, formwork, reinforcement, concreting, post-tensioning, precast erection, and temporary works. Ability to interpret structural drawings, specifications, construction sequences, and method statements. Strong leadership, planning, coordination, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Good knowledge of UAE construction practices, quality standards, and EHS requirements.
