Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Civil Draftsman with strong experience in building construction projects. The ideal candidate should have excellent AutoCAD skills and hands‑on experience preparing civil and architectural drawings, shop drawings, detailed drawings, and as-built drawings.

The candidate should be able to coordinate effectively with civil engineers, architects, project teams, and site personnel and ensure drawings comply with project specifications and construction requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil and architectural drawings for building construction projects.
• Prepare plans, sections, elevations, details, and shop drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare detailed construction drawings based on engineering and architectural requirements.
• Prepare and update shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate drawings with civil engineers, architects, MEP teams, and site personnel.
• Review drawings and incorporate comments from engineers, consultants, and project teams.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and approved designs.
• Update drawings based on site conditions and construction changes.
• Maintain proper drawing revisions and documentation.
• Support site teams with accurate technical drawings and details.
• Ensure dimensions, levels, layouts, and construction details are accurately represented.
• Coordinate drawing requirements with project and construction teams to support smooth project execution.

Requirements

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience as a Civil Draftsman in building construction.
• Strong UAE building construction experience is required.
• Minimum 8 years of UAE building construction experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on AutoCAD experience preparing civil/building drawings.
• Strong experience preparing:
  • Shop drawings
  • Detailed construction drawings
  • As-built drawings
  • Plans, sections, and elevations
• Good understanding of building construction drawings, dimensions, levels, and site requirements.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with civil engineers, architects, consultants, and site teams.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Candidates available to join immediately or within a short notice period are preferred.
