Job summary

PTD-Power Transmission & Distribution - IC in the UAE seeks a Civil Site Engineer for substation projects across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Northern Emirates. The role focuses on planning, supervising civil works, coordination with multiple teams, and adherence to UAE authority standards.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in civil engineering with relevant UAE substation exposure.
5–8 years of experience in civil construction, preferably in UAE substation projects.
Strong coordination skills, knowledge of authority standards (DEWA/ADDC/TRANSCO) and site safety compliance.

Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day civil works at substation sites and ensure conformance with drawings and method statements.
Plan weekly/daily work plans and monitor progress against the schedule.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and internal teams for interface works and approvals.
Maintain quality records, conduct inspections, and ensure NCR closure and ITP compliance.
Enforce HSE procedures on site and conduct toolbox talks.
Set out and verify benchmarks, check finished levels and coordinate with surveyors.
Prepare daily progress reports and assist monthly progress reporting.
