Job summary

PTD-Power Transmission & Distribution - IC in Dubai is seeking a Construction Manager – Civil to lead civil works for electrical substations (33kV, 132kV, 220kV+). You will manage foundations, structures, drainage, and related civil activities to meet design, schedule, and budget targets.

The role requires 10–15 years of experience in civil construction for substations, coordination with electrical/mechanical teams, and strong site supervision capabilities.

Qualifications

• Review civil drawings, specifications, and construction scope for the substation.
• Develop and monitor construction schedules for civil works.
• Coordinate civil activities with electrical and mechanical installation teams.
• Oversee earthworks, foundations, and structures.
• Ensure soil compaction and ground improvement meet requirements.
• Coordinate geotechnical requirements based on soil reports.

Responsibilities

• Review civil drawings, specifications, and construction scope for the substation.
• Develop and monitor construction schedules for civil works.
• Coordinate civil activities with electrical and mechanical installation teams.
• Oversee earthworks, foundations, and structures.
• Supervise site clearing, excavation, grading, and leveling.
