Job summary
Bureau Veritas | Marine & Offshore seeks an experienced Civil Inspector to support condition assessment and integrity evaluation projects for ADNOC Gas assets across multiple sites in the UAE. You will perform visual inspections, assess concrete condition, and prepare detailed reporting for process and non-process areas.
The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 5–12+ years in oil & gas civil inspection, and mandatory experience in live operating plants.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5–12+ years of experience in oil & gas civil inspection.
- Experience working in live operating plants is mandatory. ADNOC experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspections of RCC and concrete civil assets in operating facilities.
- Inspect foundations, pipe racks, sleepers, buildings, roads, drainage, and fireproofing.
- Identify cracks, spalling, corrosion indicators, settlement, and deterioration.
- Support NDT/DT sampling and testing activities.
- Prepare inspection reports, crack mapping, and photographic records.
- Assign condition ratings and repair priorities.
- Support SAP and asset tagging activities as required.
- Comply with ADNOC HSE and permit-to-work systems.
