Job summary

Rosefilda Construction LLC seeks a Site Foreman cum Engineer to supervise and execute daily site activities for vacuum sewerage house connection works in Dubai. The role combines technical supervision with hands-on execution, ensuring compliance with shop drawings and project specs.

You will set out, check levels, supervise labor, coordinate with MEP and safety teams, and maintain records. UAE experience and a readiness to relocate to project site are preferred with company‑provided

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–6 years of site experience in civil/infrastructure works, preferably sewerage or pipeline.
• Experience supervising labor gangs and coordinating with engineers on technical tasks on site.
• Familiarity with UAE/Dubai DM standards and local site practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities including trenching, interlock removal, GRP manhole placement, and uPVC pipe laying.
• Ensure works align with approved shop drawings, method statements, and project specs.
• Perform setting out, levels, and alignment checks for trenches and pipework.
• Direct labor and equipment operators, ensuring productivity and safety on site.
• Maintain site records, progress reports, and material usage logs.
• Assist with testing, commissioning, and close‑out documentation under supervision.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety on site.

Job description

strong Site Foreman cum Engineer strong shall be responsible for both the technical supervision and hands‑on execution of daily site activities for the vacuum sewerage house connection works.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating daily site activities trench excavation interlock removal GRP manhole placement uPVC pipe laying QuaVac Vacuflow interface installation and backfilling.
• Ensuring works are executed strictly as per approved shop drawings method statement and project specifications.
• Carrying out setting out levels and alignment checks for trenches chambers and pipework.
• Directly supervising labor gangs and equipment operators ensuring productivity and adherence to the program.
• Monitoring quality of workmanship at each stage sand bedding PCC bed GRP manhole placement pipe jointing sand surround haunching interlock reinstatement and taking corrective action where needed.
• Coordinating manual lifting handling of materials and assisting with crane operations during GRP manhole placement ensuring the work area is safe and clear.
• Raising site queries observations to the Project Engineer and supporting preparation of WIRs MIRs for Consultant inspection.
• Enforcing use of PPE and safe working practices among all labor under supervision in coordination with the Safety Officer.
• Maintaining daily site records progress reports and material consumption logs.
• Supporting testing and commissioning activities including preparing the work area and coordinating with the MEP Coordinator manufacturer s specialist.
• Assisting in compiling close‑out documentation as-built records checklists test reports under guidance from the Project Engineer.
• Maintaining good housekeeping and site cleanliness at all times.

Education

• Diploma in Civil Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification)

Experience

• Minimum 4–6 years' site experience in civil/infrastructure works, preferably including sewerage, drainage, or pipeline works.
• Demonstrated experience combining hands‑on foreman‑level labor supervision with basic engineering/technical responsibilities on site.
• Prior experience with uPVC pipe installation, precast/GRP chamber placement, trench excavation and backfilling strongly preferred.
• Exposure to UAE construction sites and familiarity with local site practices/standards preferred.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality (DM) standards is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Practical, hands‑on knowledge of pipe‑laying, excavation, and chamber installation work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical/construction drawings independently.
• Basic understanding of quality/inspection documentation (WIR/MIR, checklists, daily reports).
• Strong leadership and man‑management skills to directly supervise labor gangs.
• Good communication and coordination skills to liaise with the Project Engineer, Safety Officer, and other trades on site.
• Strong safety awareness, particularly around excavation, manual handling, and lifting operations.
• Basic computer literacy for maintaining site records/logs (MS Excel/Word).
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in a live construction environment.

• Valid UAE driving license preferred.
• Willing to relocate to / work at project site full‑time.
