Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology in Dubai (UAE) is seeking a Civil Engineer to manage on-site activities for fit-out projects. You will ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, quality standards and schedules, while coordinating with project managers, MEP, joinery, QS, procurement, consultants and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates hold a UAE-licensed Bachelors in Civil Engineering, can review drawings for clashes, supervise inspections, monitor progress, control waste, and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering requested.
• Experience working on projects with consultant supervision.
• Immediate joiners available in UAE only.
• Previous UAE Fit-out industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work is executed per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and schedule.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, MEP, Joinery, QS, Procurement, consultants and subcontractors.
• Monitor manpower, materials, productivity, and daily site progress.
• Review drawings and identify technical issues, clashes and site requirements.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure proper rectification of defects and snags.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and update project status in ERP.
• Control material wastage, rework and unnecessary costs.
• Coordinate inspections, snagging, testing and final project handover.
• Maintain proper project documentation and site records.
• Demonstrate punctuality, teamwork, technical competence and accountability in all responsibilities.

• Must have UAE License
