Job description

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Civil Engineer to oversee and manage engineering operations across multiple construction projects. The ideal candidate must hold a valid RAK Trading License, Dubai Municipality (DM) approval, and a G+12 classification certificate. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and prior consulting experience to ensure compliance with engineering standards and the successful execution of high-rise and commercial building projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate the activities of the engineering team to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and within approved timelines.
• Review and approve structural designs, drawings, and calculations in accordance with Dubai Municipality and RAK regulations.
• Manage and oversee all stages of project development — from design to execution — ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and project engineers.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve design and site issues promptly.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and project requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and documentation for internal and client review.
• Collaborate with project management and finance teams on resource planning and cost control.

Maintain and update records related to municipality approvals, permits, and compliance certifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution (Master’s degree preferred).
• Valid RAK Trading License and Dubai Municipality Approval for G+12 classification (mandatory).
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in civil engineering, with at least 5 years in the UAE.
• Proven experience in consulting and supervision of G+12 or high-rise projects.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to oversee multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE building codes, construction regulations, and approval processes.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering and design software (AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD, etc.).
