Job summary

ALFIRAS General Contracting seeks an experienced General Manager - Civil Division to provide strategic leadership and oversee divisional operations across civil construction and infrastructure projects. The role carries full P&L accountability and a focus on profitable growth through strong client relationships and disciplined governance.

You will lead project directors, managers, and teams, drive business development, and ensure HSE and quality compliance while reporting to the COO and CEO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; MBA or Master's preferred.
• Minimum 25 years of relevant civil construction experience, with at least 8 years in senior management or divisional leadership.
• Strong track record in P&L accountability, budgeting, cost control, and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the Civil Division and align with company objectives.
• Oversee civil construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budgets and quality standards.
• Take full P&L responsibility, monitor budgets and cash flow, and drive divisional profitability.
• Monitor project performance, address operational challenges, and allocate resources effectively.
• Support tendering, contract negotiations, and expansion of the division's market presence.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, government authorities, consultants, and subcontractors.
