Job summary

Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in the UAE seeks an accomplished Head of Event Strategy to lead development and governance of major events, exhibitions, and leadership engagements that align with corporate objectives and brand positioning.

Qualifications

  • Review and approve event plans, budgets, procurement requirements, schedules, risk assessments, and operational readiness activities for major events and participations.
  • Lead management of strategic event vendors and service providers, ensuring quality, contractual compliance, and achievement of expected outcomes.
  • Oversee preparation and quality assurance of event-related materials, corporate gifts, media assets, promotional content, and stakeholder engagement collateral.
  • Guide management of protocol requirements, VIP engagements, official visits, and leadership participation to ensure adherence to governmental and organizational standards.
  • Resolve complex operational issues, stakeholder concerns, and event-related risks, providing direction to ensure successful delivery of event activities.
Product / Process Improvement
  • Lead evaluation of event effectiveness through analysis of stakeholder feedback, media coverage, participation metrics, audience engagement, and return on investment indicators.
  • Develop and enhance methodologies, tools, and dashboards for measuring event performance, sponsorship value, stakeholder reach, and organisational impact.
  • Recommend and implement innovative event formats, digital engagement solutions, immersive technologies, and audience experience enhancements to strengthen event outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise event planning processes, governance practices, resource utilisation, and stakeholder experiences across RTA.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of event standards, templates, operational procedures, and governance controls to ensure alignment with evolving organisational needs and industry best practices.
