Job summary

Bybit is seeking a Chief Risk Officer to establish and oversee the risk management framework for its exchange and clearing operations based in ADGM. You will provide independent oversight of market integrity, clearing, liquidity, and operational resilience across the platform.

You will lead risk governance, stress testing, reporting to the Board, and liaison with FSRA, shaping a culture of risk awareness while balancing growth and market integrity in a regulated, global crypto environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and experience in risk management within exchanges or financial infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with stakeholder management.
• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and risk principles.
• Experience engaging with regulators and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee the risk management framework per FSRA rules.
• Oversee risk governance across market, clearing and settlement, liquidity, collateral, and resilience.
• Monitor risk profile and ensure risks stay within approved appetite.
• Lead stress testing, scenario analysis, and recovery planning.
• Prepare risk reports for Board and Risk Committee.
• Liaise with FSRA on regulatory reviews and supervisory engagements.
• Promote culture of risk awareness and market integrity.
• Provide independent challenge while balancing growth and integrity.
