Job summary

Zypl in Dubai seeks a CFO to own the full financial function as the company scales post-Series A. You will lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and fundraising while ensuring multi-jurisdiction compliance across UAE/DIFC and regional regimes.

You will partner with the CEO and board, build and mentor the finance team, shape pricing and unit economics, manage investor relations and drive capital allocation across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CFO or senior finance leader in a company that has raised and operated at Series A or beyond.
• Direct experience preparing for and executing institutional fundraising rounds (Series A/B+).
• Strong FP&A, financial modelling and investor-grade reporting background.
• Experience in fintech/regulated environments; familiarity with DIFC or equivalent regimes preferred.

Job description

zypl.ai is scaling from Series A into its next growth phase, building AI-powered risk and decisioning infrastructure across Central Asia, MENA and global markets. We are seeking a CFO to own the full financial function — from fundraising and investor relations through financial planning, controls, and multi-jurisdiction compliance — and to serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and board as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities

Lead financial strategy, planning and analysis (FP&A), including annual budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling to support high-growth scaling.

Own fundraising execution alongside the CEO: prepare data rooms, financial models, and investor materials for Series B and onwards.

Build and manage investor relations, reporting, and board communications with institutional and strategic investors.

Establish and scale financial controls, accounting, treasury, and cash-flow management across multiple jurisdictions (UAE/DIFC, Central Asia).

Oversee statutory compliance, audit, tax structuring, and regulatory reporting in a DIFC and cross-border context.

Design and manage capital allocation, unit economics, and pricing frameworks in partnership with commercial and product leaders.

Build out and lead the finance team as headcount and revenue scale.

Support M&A, corporate structuring, and strategic partnerships across the A7Sigma ecosystem.

Requirements

Proven experience as CFO, VP Finance, or senior finance leader in a company that has raised and operated at Series A and beyond.

Direct experience preparing for and executing institutional fundraising rounds (Series A/B+).

Strong background in FP&A, financial modelling, and investor-grade reporting.

Experience operating in fintech, financial services, or a regulated environment; familiarity with DIFC or comparable financial free-zone regimes strongly preferred.

Track record managing finance across multiple jurisdictions and currencies.

Qualified accountant (ACCA / CPA / CFA or equivalent) or MBA-level financial training preferred.

Comfortable in a high-intensity, fast-scaling startup with a hands-on, builder mindset.

Willing to be based in Dubai, UAE.
