Job summary

Wood is seeking a Head of Construction and Commissioning in Abu Dhabi to lead the construction and commissioning function within the Oil, Gas & New Energies business. You will ensure safe, on-time delivery of complex projects and manage a large multidisciplinary team across home office and field sites.

The role requires extensive EPC experience, strategic leadership, and a strong focus on HSSEA, governance, and performance improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equal technical field required.
• Chartered membership or PE status preferred for senior leadership.
• Extensive construction and commissioning experience on EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery excellence in construction and commissioning across the business unit.
• Provide leadership for large multidisciplinary teams and resource planning.
• Ensure HSSEA compliance and safe, on-time project delivery.
