Job summary

Wood, Abu Dhabi, seeks an experienced Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate all on-site activities for large oil and gas projects. You will ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards for a high-profile client.

The role requires 20+ years in oil and gas, including 5+ years on major capital projects (>$500M), with strong construction and site management. Willingness to travel and UAE work visa readiness are essential.

Qualifications

20+ years Oil & Gas industry experience
5+ years on major capital projects (>$500M) with Construction Management and Site Management focus
Experience in an Oil & Gas operating company is highly desired
Excellent communications skills in English; ability to travel extensively
Willingness to travel extensively and adapt work location as needed
Must be qualified to obtain CICPA and a UAE work visa

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate all on-site activities to deliver projects on time and within budget
Ensure projects meet design, quality, safety, and contractual requirements
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to optimize constructability
Manage project cost and schedule for assigned disciplines and ensure alignment with client contracts
