The ideal candidate will have expertise in a wide range of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment and safety procedures, with strong leadership to manage staff, stock, rotation, and menu planning.

You will coordinate with front-of-house to ensure smooth service and maintain top standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef in a professional kitchen.
• Excellent understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
• Excellent leadership abilities with organizational skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Knowledge of safety procedures in the kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present innovative dishes according to the standards set by the restaurant.
• Manage the kitchen staff including delegating tasks and ensuring all members of the team follow health and safety standards.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen.
• Ensure that all ingredients are fresh, correctly stored and rotated.
