Job summary

myZoi seeks an Associate Director, CFCC Governance to lead the financial crime governance framework from Dubai. You will provide second-line oversight, monitor testing, and report to the MLRO while engaging with regulators to ensure compliance with UAE laws and SVF guidelines.

The role emphasizes policy uplift, governance, risk assessment and remediation oversight, with a focus on proactive control improvements and timely regulatory responses.

Qualifications

• Six years of hands-on experience in financial crime, compliance or regulatory risk.
• Strong knowledge of UAE AML/CFT and sanctions requirements.
• Experience drafting and governing policies, overseeing procedures and reporting to senior committees.
• Ability to challenge senior stakeholders and drive practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Strategize CFCC vision and plan with the MLRO, aligned to myZoi’s direction.
• Drive continuous policy and standards improvements and ensure alignment with UAE law and SVF regulations.
• Own the CMAT monitoring approach, testing cycles and reporting to leadership.
• Oversee risk management, remediation and escalation of material issues to MLRO and Board.
• Produce governance MI for Executive Risk Committee, Board and CFCC fora.
• Coordinate training, awareness, and CFCC communications across the organization.
