Job summary

myZoi in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an Associate Director, CFCC Governance to lead the financial crime governance framework, providing second-line oversight, testing and regulatory engagement under the MLRO. Based in the UAE, the role combines policy uplift, independent challenge and reporting to strengthen controls across the organization.

You will partner with FCC Operations, Risk and Compliance to drive policy updates, monitor controls, run CMAT cycles, and deliver timely management

Qualifications

• At least six years of hands-on experience in financial crime, compliance or regulatory risk.
• Experience in policy governance, compliance monitoring and testing, assurance and regulatory engagement.
• Strong knowledge of UAE AML, CFT, CPF and sanctions requirements, CBUAE expectations and SVF regulations.
• Experience drafting and governing policies, overseeing operational procedures and reporting to senior committees and boards.
• Experience managing regulatory examinations, audits, independent assessments and external consultants.
• Knowledge of fintech and payments business models, products, systems and regulatory considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance and oversight of CFCC framework, reporting to MLRO and Board.
• Drive policy uplift and ensure alignment with UAE law and SVF standards.
• Oversee compliance monitoring, testing cycles and remediation tracking.
• Prepare accurate CFCC MI and support regulatory liaison and external examinations.
• Promote a culture of risk awareness and accountability across the business.
