Job summary

myZoi, a fintech focused on financial inclusion, seeks an Associate Director, CFCC Governance based in the UAE to lead the financial crime compliance governance framework. You will provide second-line oversight, strategic advice to the MLRO, and ensure policy uplift and regulatory liaison across UAE authorities.

You will drive monitoring and testing programs, manage CMAT findings, and oversee remediation and reporting to the Board, Executive Risk Committee, and regulators, enabling safe delivery

Qualifications

• Six+ years of hands-on financial crime, regulatory risk experience.
• Experience in policy governance, compliance monitoring and testing, assurance and regulatory engagement.
• Strong knowledge of UAE AML/CFT, sanctions requirements, CBUAE expectations and SVF regulations.
• Experience drafting and governing policies, overseeing operational procedures and reporting to senior committees and boards.
• Experience managing regulatory examinations, audits, independent assessments and external consultants.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk management in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Support CFCC governance strategy and policy uplift.
• Draft and maintain UAE-aligned policies and procedures.
• Lead CMAT ownership and MLRO for monitoring and testing.
• Oversee monitoring, testing, remediation and reporting.
• Coordinate regulatory liaison and external audits.
• Provide CFCC training and awareness on regulatory developments.
