Job summary

SGS in Dubai is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Analyst to assess product and exporter risk, determine conformity with standards, and guide classification and certification processes.

You will provide technical opinions on product standards, assist in resolving certification cases, and apply knowledge of ISO/IEC and other global standards. The role requires a university degree and at least one year of regulatory experience; Arabic fluency is mandatory, onsite work.

Qualifications

• University degree in Food, Chemistry, Biology or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of technical/regulatory/laboratory experience.
• Knowledge of product design, manufacturing, testing, and specifications.
• Background in conformity assessment, ISO/IEC/EN/ANSI/ASTM standards preferred.
• Arabic fluency is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assess product and exporter risk levels and conformity assessment following applicable standards and CAIs.
• Provide quality and technically-based opinion on product standards and product classification and certification.
• Assist in resolution of standards classification and certification cases using technical expertise.

Job description

• Assess product and/or exporter risk levels identification of product essential requirements and applicable standards following the Business Rules on conformity assessment classification import eligibility and process flows Conformity Assessment Instructions (CAIs) and other related references.
• Providequality and technically-based opinion on product standards and product classification and certification.
• Assistin the resolution of standards classification and certification cases and other requests and or inquiries by utilization of technical expertise on specific goods or commodity.

Qualifications :

• University degree or relevant technical qualification in Food background or Chemical/Biology/Microbiology or similar.
• 1 year experience in technical/regulatory/laboratory etc.
• Knowledge related to his/her field of expertise (Product design manufacturing testing product research and specification).
• Preferably with background on the following fields: Conformity assessment (accreditation systems product certification product testing inspection protocols and industrial metrology) Industrial standardization concepts including international standards development and implementation i.e. ISO IEC EN ANSI ASTM etc. Quality management system e.g.: ISO 9001 ISO 22000 ISO/TS 16949 or similar systems.
• Fluency in Arabic is mandatory.
