Job summary

Atlas Copco Group in the UAE is seeking a Field Service Engineer - Centrifugal Compressor Specialist to install, commission and service centrifugal compressors as part of the CTS team. You will lead commissioning, optimize performance, and provide on-site and remote technical support for centrifugal systems.

Applicants should have a mechanical or electrical engineering background with 3–5 years of hands-on turbo compressor experience, plus willingness to travel across the UAE and GCC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience with Turbo Compressor.
• Knowledge of centrifugal compressor theory and operation.
• Experience with vibration analysis and troubleshooting of rotating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Execute installation, commissioning, and start-up of centrifugal compressors and associated systems.
• Configure anti-surge control and optimize compressor performance.
• Lead commissioning, performance testing, and customer acceptance testing of centrifugal compressors.
• Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and provide corrective action recommendations.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and major overhauls.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support for Centrifugal Compressor.
