Job summary

The role involves travel within the UAE and internationally, with assignments onshore and offshore at oil field platforms.

You will work with a skilled service team to ensure quality, safety, and timely reports, while maintaining a strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 2-3 years hands-on experience with a reputable dealer, distributor, or service organization.
• Strong technical expertise in industrial products including air compressors and dryers.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and solve problems independently.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and overhaul Ingersoll Rand pneumatic tools, hoists, winches, and air compressors.
• Complete service tasks within assigned labor hours with minimal rework.
• Provide technical support and coordinate with the service team for efficiency.
• Conduct on-site fieldwork and installations at customer locations, offshore and onshore.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by adhering to service quality standards.
• Prepare detailed and accurate service reports for customers and internal records.
• Contribute to achieving service revenue targets and operating goals.

Role Overview:

We seek an experienced Technician specializing in Industrial Products to join our team at FAMCO. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and overhauling Ingersoll Rand air compressors, air dryers, and related products. The position involves travel within the UAE and internationally, including assignments onshore and offshore at oil field platforms. Strong knowledge of air compressors will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, troubleshoot, and overhaul Ingersoll Rand pneumatic tools, hoists, winches, and air compressors.
• Complete service tasks within the assigned labor hours, ensuring minimal rework.
• Provide technical support and work closely with the service team to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct on-site fieldwork, project installations, and assignments at customer locations, including offshore and onshore environments.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by adhering to service quality standards.
• Prepare detailed and accurate service reports professionally.
• Contribute to the achievement of service revenue targets and operational goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience servicing, troubleshooting, and overhauling industrial air compressors and dryers.
• Proficiency in the mechanical aspects of pneumatic tools and air winches.
• Ability to work independently in on-site, field, and offshore settings.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to ensure effective coordination with the service team.
• Good English communication skills, both written for report generation and verbal for customer interaction.
• A proactive, customer-service focused approach to ensuring satisfaction and service excellence.
• A UAE driving license is an advantage.
