InterContinental Abu Dhabi is seeking a vigilant CCTV Operations Room Officer to join our Security team. You will monitor surveillance systems across the hotel, maintain logs, and support incident reporting with discretion and professionalism.

Key responsibilities include identifying suspicious activity, communicating security concerns to the team, ensuring equipment functionality, and coordinating with departments to maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Past CCTV monitoring or security experience.
• Familiar with CCTV systems, monitoring software, and basic computer applications.
• Strong observation and attention to detail.

Job Description:

InterContinental Abu Dhabi is seeking a vigilant, professional, and detail-oriented CCTV Operations Room Officer to join our Security team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in safeguarding our guests, colleagues, hotel facilities, and assets by ensuring effective surveillance, prompt reporting, and adherence to established security procedures.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you will mainly be responsible for:

• Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems across the hotel premises to ensure the safety and security of guests, colleagues, and property.
• Maintain continuous observation of key areas and identify suspicious activities, unusual behaviour, or potential security risks.
• Promptly communicate security concerns, incidents, and observations to the Security team for appropriate action.
• Monitor access points, public areas, back-of-house facilities, and other designated locations in accordance with hotel security procedures.
• Review, retrieve, and preserve CCTV footage when required to support investigations and incident reporting.
• Maintain accurate records of surveillance activities, security incidents, and relevant observations in the appropriate logs.
• Assist the Security team in investigating incidents, accidents, guest concerns, and breaches of hotel security protocols.
• Ensure the proper functioning of CCTV cameras, monitors, recording systems, and related equipment, reporting any technical issues immediately.
• Handle all surveillance footage, security reports, and confidential information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
• Follow established emergency response procedures and provide timely information to support effective incident management.
• Conduct regular checks of surveillance systems to ensure cameras are operational and critical areas remain under observation.
• Coordinate effectively with Security colleagues and other hotel departments to support a safe and secure working environment.
• Comply with hotel policies, operational standards, and applicable security and privacy requirements.
• Maintain a high level of alertness, accuracy, and professionalism throughout every shift.

What we need from you:

• Previous experience in CCTV monitoring, security operations, or a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with CCTV surveillance systems, monitoring software, and basic computer applications.
• Strong observation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify potential risks.
• Good communication skills and the ability to remain calm and respond appropriately under pressure.
• High standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a security team.
• Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
