Job summary

Accor is seeking an AC Technician with carpentry expertise to maintain and repair wooden furniture, fixtures and structures across guest rooms and public areas in a 5-star resort in the UAE. You will read drawings, perform preventive and corrective tasks, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of similar experience in UAE, strong communication, teamwork, and prioritization skills, and holds relevant technical diplomas.

Qualifications

• Should have proven track record in similar job role for at least 2 years for 5 Star Resort in UAE.
• Resort experience is preferred.
• Should have technical education background and related diplomas.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize work in a busy work schedule.
• Should be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on furniture, doors, windows, cabinets, fixtures and other wooden structures.
• Repair and replace damaged woodwork, fittings and furnishings.
• Install, assemble and modify carpentry items as required.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with hotel standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Support other engineering team members when required.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest concerns.
• Follow health, safety and environmental procedures at all times.

AC Technician

As a Carpenter you will perform a variety of carpentry maintenance tasks to install repair and maintain the propertys wooden structures furniture fittings and fixtures. You will play a key role in ensuring that guest rooms public areas and back-of-house facilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety functionality and appearance.

What you will be doing:
