Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to schedule appointments, provide prep instructions for procedures, and coordinate care across departments. You will manage demographics and insurance, process referrals, handle multi-channel communications regarding appointments, referrals, and prescriptions, and coordinate home care, equipment, and transportation as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Customer Service experience.
• Strong teamwork and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and provide prep instructions for procedures.
• Coordinate demographics, registration, and insurance information.
• Process requests for referrals and obtain necessary documentation.
• Manage multi-channel messages regarding appointments, referrals, and prescriptions.
• Coordinate Home Care, Durable Medical Equipment, and transportation.
• Identify gaps in care and provide resource education.
