Job summary

NMC in Sharjah is seeking a Cardio Vascular Technologist to prepare patients and equipment for procedures, explain steps to patients, and assist physicians in interpreting imaging data.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Cardiac Technology and at least 3 years of experience, with strong communication, planning, and computer skills. You will liaise with Cath Lab staff and ensure MOH compliance while maintaining records and stock levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cardiac Technology required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and diagnostic equipment for procedures.
• Explain procedure to patient.
• Assist physicians in interpreting data from images and determine which should be saved.
• Coordinate with billing for information flow and insurance approvals.
• Follow department policies and continuous quality improvement objectives.
• Ensure compliance with MOH rules and regulations.
• Maintain all procedure-related records.
• Monitor expiry/expired items and dispose per policy.
• Provide patient care ensuring safety and reducing medical errors.
• Maintain stock level in assigned area using computerized system.
