Job summary

NMC in Dubai seeks a Cardiac Care Technician to perform 2 D Echo and TMT, while ensuring competency with non-invasive lab equipment. You will assist in equipment inventory, deliver patient care across ages, and liaise with cardiologists.

You must also handle basic office duties and participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with cardiology practices. The role requires a DHA license to practice in the UAE, a graduate degree in Cardiac Care Technology, and internship experience,

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Cardiac Care Technology.
• 6 months internship in Cardiac Care Technology.
• Current license in country of origin with DHA license to practice in UAE.
• Two years of recent related work experience as a Cardiac Tech.
• Excellent command of oral and written English. Arabic language advantageous /desirable but not essential.
• Ability to adjust to group practice in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs 2 D Echo, TMT, demonstrating competency and proficiency with equipment in the non invasive Lab.
• Participates in the ordering and inventory of equipment and supplies for the non invasive Lab.
• Delivers patient care for all age groups while using diagnostic imaging equipment; acts as a liaison between the patient and the cardiologist.
• Performs general office duties including answering phones, scheduling, filing, and maintaining patient records.
• Actively participates in the training of other personnel.
• Recognizes that continuing education is vital to maintaining and advancing the profession. Keeps cardiology skills current demonstrating evidence of continuing education to include department meetings, individualized learning opportunities from cardiologists, and related classes.
• To follow appropriate international guidelines, DHA regulations & Joint Commission International norms while treating or managing patients as well as while discharging their professional duties.
