Job summary

Marsh McLennan in Dubai is seeking a Captive Manager to lead captive programs and provide strategic risk guidance. The role blends underwriting insight with client advisory, operating in a hybrid model with three days in the office weekly.

You will oversee policy documentation, regulatory compliance, and governance for captive structures while pursuing new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with insurers, clients, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Proven underwriting experience with a strong understanding of insurance structures and operations.
• Solid knowledge of risk analysis, policy documentation, and client advisory within insurance.
• Prior experience with captive insurance is a plus.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and client relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills to oversee captive program documentation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze risk assessments, developing and presenting innovative insurance solutions for captive programs.
• Advise clients on moderately complex risks related to captive insurance and oversee transactions to optimize coverage.
• Serve as primary contact for client inquiries related to captive programs and ensure client satisfaction.
• Oversee production and accuracy of all account and program documentation including policy documents and renewals.
• Monitor and manage captive operations including policy administration and regulatory compliance.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by supporting client acquisition and expanding offerings.
• Independently manage assignments and collaborate with brokers or managers on complex engagements.
• Maintain strong relationships with insurers, reinsurers, clients, and internal teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Demonstrate broad knowledge of insurance coverage lines and regulatory environments affecting captive insurance.
• Review and verify contract documents, bond forms, and banking terms related to captive transactions.
