Job summary

Sheraton Grand Hotel, Dubai is seeking an Associate Dining Attendant to assist in the day-to-day operations of the staff cafeteria, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards before, during, and after service. You will monitor premises for maintenance needs and report them to the supervisor.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, conducting daily inspections, assisting with health and sanitation records, and providing friendly service to associates.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and appearance of associate cafeteria and related areas.
• Conduct daily cafeteria inspections and report hygiene, maintenance or safety concerns.
• Assist in maintaining health, safety, and sanitation records.
• Provide friendly, professional assistance to associates and address requests promptly.
• Prepare and maintain cafeteria mise en place and keep areas organized for service.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and minimize wastage.
• Check food products for quality and expiry dates; follow FIFO.
• Report shortages, damaged items and expired products to supervisor.
• Support daily cafeteria operations and complete tasks efficiently per hotel standards.
• Handle routine associate requests and help during supervisor absences.
• Ensure cafeteria equipment and service areas are clean and in good working condition.
• Follow hotel policies, health and safety regulations, and food handling procedures.
