Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional customer service, manage staff, maintain high food safety and hygiene standards, control costs and drive sales while creating a welcoming environment for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cafe to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Lead, supervise and motivate the cafe team to deliver outstanding customer experiences
• Prepare staff schedules, monitor attendance and manage daily workforce requirements
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and health regulations
• Monitor inventory levels, place orders and coordinate with suppliers to maintain stock availability
• Control food and beverage costs, minimize wastage and manage operational expenses
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints and feedback professionally
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
• Ensure the cafe is clean, organized and well-maintained at all times
• Train and develop employees on service standards, product knowledge and operational procedures
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational and sales reports
• Coordinate with management to implement promotional campaigns and improve customer engagement

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Café Manager, Restaurant Manager, or Assistant Café Manager.
• Experience managing café or coffee shop operations is mandatory.
• Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of inventory management, food cost control, and budgeting.
• Familiarity with POS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP knowledge is an advantage).
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Preferred Candidate Nationality: Filipino, Indian, or Sri Lankan.
• Presentable with excellent interpersonal skills.
