Job summary

ADRobotics is seeking a Buyer to manage day-to-day tactical purchasing for manufacturing operations in Abu Dhabi. You will issue and expedite purchase orders, monitor supplier delivery commitments, and resolve procurement issues to keep production on schedule.

You will collaborate with Planning, Inventory Management, and Manufacturing Engineering to translate material requirements into timely purchase orders and maintain ERP accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tactical purchasing experience in manufacturing, hardware, or startups.
• UAE experience preferred with familiarity with local import/customs and supplier landscape.
• ERP systems experience (SAP, Oracle) for PO creation, tracking, and reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Convert approved requisitions and demand into purchase orders in the ERP within pricing, terms, and supplier agreements.
• Track order acknowledgements, confirm lead times, and expedite or de-expedite POs as production schedules change.
• Monitor open PO status and flag late deliveries, shortages, or quality holds to Planning and Production Supervision.
• Resolve day-to-day supplier issues with Receiving and Accounts Payable.
• Maintain purchasing records, supplier lead times, and pricing data in the ERP to support MRP planning.
• Support supplier onboarding and run routine spend and on-time-delivery reporting.

It sits within the Supply Chain pillar, working alongside Sourcing to execute against agreed pricing and terms. Key Responsibilities

• Convert approved purchase requisitions and MRP-generated demand into purchase orders in the ERP system, within pricing, terms, and supplier agreements set by Sourcing.
• Track order acknowledgements, confirm lead times, and expedite or de-expedite POs in response to changing production schedules.
• Monitor open PO status and proactively flag late deliveries, shortages, or quality holds to Planning and Production Supervision.
• Resolve day-to-day supplier issues in coordination with Receiving and Accounts Payable.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier lead times, and pricing data in the ERP to support reliable MRP planning.
• Support supplier onboarding administration and run routine spend and on-time-delivery reporting.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in tactical purchasing, buying, or procurement operations in a manufacturing, hardware, or start-up/scale-up environment.
